If you are aware of the ESPN channel as a whole then you must also have heard about ESPN+.
What is ESPN+?
It is a streaming subscription service that is inflexible towards the sports genre just like ESPN. ideally, it’s a continuation to ESPN and not a segregated platform. The ESPN is a standard version and the ESPN+ is kind of an ad-on that includes live games, exclusive on-demand videos, and access to the ESPN insider.
The most amazing thing is that you can access ESPN+ through the current ESPN application. In order to eliminate the need to separate applications for ESPN+, the content is available on the ESPN app itself. The availability of the ESPN app is great, as it is available mostly for all the devices you can think of such as Chromecast, PS$, Xbox One, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, laptops, tablets, Roku, smartphone, and SamsungTV, etc.
ESPN+ offers all the advanced content such as live games, on-demand shows, and especially exclusive stories. There’s a fact that live games show up with ads, similar to regular TV.
Live games from MLB, NHL, and MLS can be watched by the subscribers at the time when seasons are active. However, there are no live NBA and NFL games. The games that are offered are PGA golf, UFC, College football, tennis, and international soccer. Progressively it also offers original shows that are recaps of the games and the analysis hosted by Peyton Manning and Daniel Cormier along with the compressed version of NFL Primetime. Moreover, it features documentary shows such as ‘’30 for 30’’ and entire replays of historic NFL games are also presented to streaming on-demand videos.
Technically ESPN+ is separated from ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNews. That’s why the subscription will not allow you to access live games that are broadcasted on those channels. The live games include Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Baseball. However, MLB games are offered by ESPN+. The account of ESPN+ is not similar to the cable log-in while accessing the networks of ESPN.
The basic subscription cost of ESPN+ is $5.99 per month or $49.99 per year. If you go for the annual plan then you will save $22 per year as compared to the monthly plan. At the time when ESPN was first launched, the subscription cost was $4.99. It has increased to %5.99 on 12th August 2020. People having the older plan will continue paying the same price for up to one year.
Activate ESPN on your device and get an amazing streaming experience while watching games. Follow all the steps correctly according to your device and get started with the fun.
